Previz For The Final Idea

Brief - Spoof - 2/12/09

So after our classes with Glen - Glen said our idea was great but lacked a climax and the ending need a bit of work so we came up with some ideas. Then we discussed them and now we have a final finshed idea.

Beginning

We start out with a spinning newspaper saying that King Kong is making a comeback

Gag 1

There is another spinning newspaper saying Kong Kong is going for the role as James Bond and then we see Kong in the Bond opening gunbarrel scene but he is too big so they have to bring the gun barrel out to fit him in.

Gag 2

There is another spinning newspaper saying King Kong is going for the Laurance Of Arabia role and then we see Kong on the back of a camel walking towards us from the horizon and when the camel gets to the foreground it collapses with the weight of King Kong.

Gag 3

There is another spinning newspaper saying King Kong is going for the sidekick role of Tuco in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and then we see Kong with a noose around his head but is so big he can't be hung so he just walks off with the tree.

Climax

After auditioning for The Good, The Bad and The Ugly scene he walks off the set and gets a phone call and you hear muttering and wonder what was spoke about, keeping you in suspense.

End

You see the opening title to Planet of the Apes then you see a close up of Kong's face with a very excited expression then the camera zooms out and he is surrounded by other apes and you realise he is just an extra.

Hero’s Character Synopsis

He is a prince who is very intelligent and always focuses on what’s best for the whole of his village but is not so physical. His brother was banished and now he is taking revenge and trying to take over the territory. So the prince goes out to stop his brother but he is not sure how to go about it and was not trained physically. So he meets an old wise monkey who understands the language of the time and past languages, who trains him whilst on the journey using old ruins which are inscribed with teachings and helps him track down his brother. On the journey to track my brother, the monkey drops a stone and the hero offers to get it but the monkey goes no I will get it and makes up loads of excuses and the hero lets him. Then the monkey drops another stone when almost at the brothers camp and it goes in the water and the hero says I will get it and the monkey lets him. Then when the hero gets out of the water he looks at it and it is blank and asks him what is going on and the monkey says he carries one just in case he learns something new so the hero ask to see other ones and the monkey is all protective so the hero grabs one and realise they are all blank. So the hero asks why and the monkey says because he was lonely and he sends him away. The hero loses confidence as the monkey made up everything he taught but went ahead and attacks the brother’s camp and it is not going well until the monkey comes back. Then the monkey helps the hero beat the brother, and the hero and monkey return to the village and the hero becomes king and continues to watch over his village.

Sidekick’s Character Synopsis

He is an outcast monkey from his troop of other monkeys as is a fraud and caused loads of trouble in the troop. So he was lonely and had to survive on his own. Then he hears about someone looking for help so he thinks it is a good thing to take advantage of so he puts on a front to be old and wise so the hero takes an interest in him and asks him to help. Then the hero comes along and asks for the monkey’s help and he talks about his stones of teaching and offers to help track the brother and so is invited along to assist the hero on the journey. Whilst on the journey he has to make up teachings as the stones are blank and track down the brother. On the journey to track the brother, he drops a stone and the hero offers to get it but he goes no I will get it and makes up loads of excuses and the hero lets him get it. Then he drops another stone when almost at the brothers camp and it goes in the water and he has to let the hero get it as he is afraid of water even though a chance of getting found out. Then once the hero gets it, the hero looks at it and it is blank so the hero asks him what is going on and the he makes up a story about he carries one just in case he learns something new so the hero asks to see other ones and he is all protective so the hero just grabs one and the hero realises they are all blank. So the hero asks him why and he says because I was lonely and the hero just sends him away. Then after being sent away, he comes back as feel guilty as the hero put faith in me and was his friend and so wanted to make it up to him. Then as a team they beat the brother, and return to the village and he becomes part of a community and is not lonely anymore and changes his ways about being a fraud.

Villains Character Synopsis

He was a prince of a kingdom but he betrayed his father, the king, and was banished. He then set up his own little village and band of men to try and conquer the territory and rule over all the land. He took over several villages and was planning to attack the main kingdom and overthrow the king. Whilst planning his brother ( the hero ) comes and finds him to take him down. His brother is getting beaten up and a monkey comes into help and they take down his band of men and then his brother duels with him and the brother with his skills and intelligence beats him and takes him back to the kingdom and he is locked up.
