Brief - Character Design - 29/9/09

I made some moodboards based on my topic and styles of cartoons which can help me concieve ideas when designing the characters.

My first moodboard is based on my topic of paleolithic (stone age)

I chose to do this moodboard so I could immerse myself in the stone age world and gage ideas from whats was happening in that period of time.

My second moodboard is based on the classic disney style

I chose to do this moodboard as I love the style disney uses as it is alot simpler than other cartoon designs yet it is so effective. I want to use this style but i don't think will suit my topic so am going to look at other cartoon styles. Although i am still going to experiment with the disney style.

My third moodboard shows other styles of cartoons

I chose to do this moodboard because I think my topic will be more suited to one of these styles rather than the disney style.
